Watching football with Daddy
Ready for church!
It's so hard to believe Mariah is 3 months old. We went Friday and had her 3 month pics taken. The lady was trying to get her to smile by blowing in her face. Ummm NASTY! Hello-it's the dead middle of winter and people are walking around carrying who knows what kind of sickness!!
Anyways.. .I'm convinced Mariah is already a 12 pounder. She hit a growth spurt last week and she's eating so much I can't keep up with her. She's still sleeping through the night though! That is SUCH a big blessing. She goes down around 8-8:30 and gets up at 7:30 every morning. She's an angel in that department. Now that we're done traveling (at least for a little bit) I have her on a schedule and she's been doing great with taking good long naps in her crib during the day. I'm convinced it's the 3 month mark when they start getting it... or maybe that's just my case. I'm sure other kids get it sooner.
I made a joke with Larry tonight talking about when we have our next kid... IN TEN YEARS. He said "yea right, a year from now you'll be wanting another one" I said "yea you're right, I already do now but not really." I miss being pregnant. My friend Loretta is pregnant now and it just makes me miss it even more.
Being a mom is SO rewarding. I count every day a blessing from God to be her mom. I love walking in her room in the mornings and getting her out of bed, I love feeding her and love seeing her smile back at me when I smile at her.
There's nothing like being a mom :)

My baby turned 2 months old on Saturday. I have missed being pregnant since he was about a week old. It sounds crazy, but it's true. I was super sick for the first 16-20 weeks, losing 12 pounds (I am skinny to start with, so it was unhealthy). I went 21 of my 24 hours of labor unmedicated. It's funny how quickly you forget the pain and sickness!
