When You Get That Look...

I'll go ahead and admit it, I know I've put on AT LEAST 5 or more lbs. this week. What can I say, I've been hungry! If I'm hungry, I'm going to eat! So last night we came home and I cought the "you're putting on some lbs!" look and yes I know that was the look because he quickly looked away when I cought his eye-not once-TWICE!!! Now I don't get that look often because normally when I start to feel it, I'll eat very little until I get down to normal. For me that takes all of 4-5 days. But for some reason, I couldn't put down the muffin box. They just kept calling me back into the kitchen time after time. Larry eats chocolate chip muffins (the mini ones if that helps me any) from Costco for breakfast every morning with a Dr. Pepper. In one container comes 32 freshly baked chocolate chip yummo muffins. Well, one container was gone after 3 days (if not 2), and the second container is almost gone-we bought these Saturday. Larry HAS helped me on the second container but I doubt he even ate 10 out of the first container.

No, I don't eat all of these in front of him, I don't really "sneak" them into my mouth but he's not always around when I grab a muffin or two or three...I finally had to tell on myself when he asked where all the muffins went. Then last night after church after eating 5 mini(hey, at least everything I eat is "mini) Kit Kats I ate three muffins and some Odwalla green stuff (Larry was already upstairs while I was stuffing my face). I came upstairs and he asked "so how many did you have?" How in the world did he know?????!!!!!!! I was so quiet!!! So I said "only three" like it was no big deal which was then followed by just moments later that "look." So today, all I have eaten is a bean burrito and skittles-I have resisted the muffins.

I am glad that Larry cares about me. I mean honestly, as much as I like food, if I didn't control myself, I would really be in trouble! No kidding. And everyone laughs at me because they think this 100lb girl can't put on some LB's but oh she can!! Don't underestimate the power of this appetite! I think he's afraid of me getting back up to my highschool/college weight but I know when to put down the muffins and pick up the running shoes.... WHEN I'M NOT HUNGRY ANYMORE!!

PS: Does anyone have a good recipe for chocolate chip muffins?? LOL!

That is to stinkin funny Kara. Just tell Larry to enjoy you know that 100 lb girl will one day be a permanent 110lb girl. Oh wait thats me. The good thing for me is I never(hopefully) have to worry about weighing more than my hubby. If I get to 200lbs please just shoot me. The bad thing for you is you will probably get close when you are prego. I know Larrys comment to me once when I was pregnant was hey we almost weigh the same. If looks could kill.....lol. Enjoy the darn muffins!!!!
