Birthday Boy

Saturday was Larry's birthday! We didn't do a lot to celebrate. That morning we headed over to VMI where we had matriculation-which is where you can go setup a table representing your church to try and get the "rats" (freshman) to come to our church on Sundays during the school year. We had a awesome turnout. We love getting to reach out to people, young and old here! We know it's what God has called us to do and we couldn't be happier.

We then went out to eat later that night to our favorite restaurant we have found since living here. It's called the "Depot Grill". It's on railroad tracks and the way they have it set up inside is really neat and fancy. Afterwards we took a few pictures then headed home to open presents. Of course, we just got Larry more biking gear:)

Last night after our evening service our wonderful church people surprised Larry with a social afterwards full of food, homemade ice cream and cake... Mariah's favorite part was getting his balloons:) We REALLY enjoyed it. We love our people here so much, they are too good to us!!

Here's our little ham-she's a full time crawler, pulling up on things, talking, making doggy noises and SO much more. I'm amazed at how far she has come along in just 10 short months. It makes me so sad that she doesn't want to be held for very long:( She's growing up so fast but I'm so thankful she's so healthy!
